Timeless Japanese
Craftsmanship,
Woven
into Every Fiber

The Japanese philosophy celebrates beauty in what is natural, finding abundance in the less
and the depth within the simplicity.

Since ancient times, Nara - Japan's first capital - has been renowned for its cotton cloth production, a legacy that carries on to this day.
Our family proudly continues in this tradition, honoring the mesh cloth making techniques handed down through generations. The word “Shirayuki” is a combination of the Japanese words for “White” and “Snow”; our cloth is as beautiful and clean as timeless White Snow.
We have since refined this technique, weaving our fabric into an essential element of
everyday life.

HISTORY A Family’s Story
Spanning Generations

Nara has long been a cradle of culture, famed since ancient times for its mastery in fabric arts. Our story began with an intention to honor every piece of fabric, finding purpose in the scraps left from our other creations.
